The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees – Country Office in Sana’a , Republic of Yemen - has an international mandate to provide international protection and to seek solutions for the problem of refugees in Yemen. In addition, The Office assumes the lead responsibility for protection, emergency shelter and camp management for internally displaced persons in Yemen. The work of the Office is of an entirely non-political character.

The Country Office in Sana'a would like to invite qualified companies to provide a firm offer for the supply of the following: 

SUPPLY AND CONSTRUCTION OF LOCALIZED SHELTERS UNITS IN YEMEN - MARIB

PRE-BID MEETING

i.    UNHCR will organize a supplier online pre-bid conference on Wednesday 15/03/2023 at 10:00 am to 11:00 am. 

ii.    In order for UNHCR to share the online meeting web link with your company, you should confirm by sending email to yemsasu@unhcr.org on or before Monday 13/03/2023 at 23:59 hrs – Yemen local time of your interest to participate on the online pre-bid conference 

iii.    Email Subject should be read as “ITB/CO/YEMSA/23/02 – Localized Shelter Units in Marib – (Your company Name)

iv.    Participation in the pre-tender conference is strongly recommended given the complexity of the requirements. All your questions and issues will be clarified and answered in the meeting.  

SUBMISSION OF BID:

Bids should be submitted by file and uploaded to e-TenderBox, the online bid registration tool of UNHCR. The e-TenderBox can be accessed via the following URL:

In order to use e-TenderBox, registration on the website is required. This registration is exclusively for e-TenderBox and does not replace any other registration with UNHCR. 

A supplier should have only one registered email account in the system. The supplier must use only that e-TenderBox account for managing its offers to UNHCR.
